Ch-ch-changes

What an interesting few months for everyone across the country. Moving back into Level 2 here in Wellington had us going back to some of our well-practised processes and habits of tracking our movements, undertaking ultra hand hygiene, and holding tenant property viewings on a much smaller scale.

While there were all the necessary changes made to play our part in suppressing the Covid-19 resurgence, we also had a few other non-COVID things happening at the Nice Place office we wanted to share with you.

New Nice People

This past few months we have welcomed two new Property Managers to our team. Charmaine joins us from Australia’s Property Management industry, and Rachel is a new property manager – a career goal of hers. They are both completely embracing their new positions as Property Managers at Nice Place and we are so pleased to have the two of them join our experienced team.

Nice Property Tech

Recently we went live with Tapi 2.0. Tenants have been able submit maintenance requests for quite some time now through Tapi’s walk through tool. However, a tenant can often provide valuable information before any tradesman is organised, which reduces time and cost. So, Tapi’s latest product is a 24/7 concierge which asks the tenant questions and based on your responses can make suggestions on what to do next or will book a maintenance job. This will really save a lot of time usually tied up in correspondence and we can just get on with organising our trusted tradespeople to come fix the issue.

Our concierge service is available through our website here and on Facebook Messenger through the Tapi page here.

Nice Plates

You might see a few of our cars driving around the city with their easy to spot branding, but we’ve recently given them an extra identifier with personalised plates. You’ll know it’s a Nice Place car if you see LET, RENT, RENTS and RENTZ. We think this is a pretty great change to our cars.

It’s all positive – and there’s still more great things changing at Nice Place through what’s left of the year. We look forward to doing it with you.
